Dear Aunt Ann and cousins,
Condolences from us all on the passing of my uncle. Wish we could be together with you during this trying time. My sons Charlie and Tommy still talk fondly about our visit to Bocabec the summer of 2002. Uncle Michel told the boys not to say 'squirrel' to Jake. Of course as soon as he turned around they did so with the desired reaction from Jake and Uncle Michel!!!
Our thoughts are with you all,
Take care,
Tony, Diane, Charlie and Tommy

Dear Ann and Family,
I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. Breault. He started teaching me french in grade nine and on the first day he called upon "the girl in pink" to pronounce the word "one" in french and I fondly recall he was "somewhat surprised and amused" that I did it correctly. When you are from Moore's Mills there are not many opportunities to practice your french language. I carried that pride and sense of achievement with me for a very very long time.....and I still do. As I type this I am upgrading my french language with an online french course; his encouragement has lasted for over 50 years. I loved his stories, especially the one about Jean Belliveau having his picture on the first page of their school yearbook BEFORE the photo of the principal. He had a wonderful "joie de vivre" and as I write this I can still see him smiling. Teachers can have such a lasting and positive impact on students; he certainly did with me. Please know I am sincerely sorry for you loss. Hugs and Stay safe. Brenda (Johnston) Sansom SSHS class of 1968

Michel was a mentor, colleague, and friend to Herb who helped to welcome Lynda to St. Stephen almost forty years ago. A thoughtful, caring teacher, he had the capacity to share his love of the French language with many students at SSHS before moving to District office and later Dept. of Ed to foster that love throughout the province. It is but one legacy he leaves second only to his family. We remember him as a true man who encouraged and supported Ann as she pursued her own vocation, spent time with family, and had a zest for life. Our sincere sympathy to the Breault family as you comfort one another and share your fond memories of Michel.

I am so very sorry to hear of Michel's passing. My prayers and condolences to the Breault family. To leave a story, Michel was my French teacher in grade 10. During the final exam, I did nothing but basically sit there and draw a big smiley face on the front of the exam. Michel walked up, looked down at my drawing and said "cute...too bad there's no art class in high school", and grinned.
He will be missed.
