I'm still shocked at Blairs passing. I was fortunate to have Blair as an Instructor many years ago and I can say that without his guidance and support I would not be where I am today. When Blair moved up as a manger I saw my dream come true, and was hired as his replacement. Over that next year I looked up to Blair as a Mentor and even though he was always busy he took the time to help me as much as he could. He was always kind, respectful of others and above all patient. The world has lost one of the good guys.
To Blair's family, my deepest condolences, especially to you Carrie. I'm so sorry for your loss.

He is very sadly missed. He was a great neighbour. Kind man to my children and loved to hit his golf balls in the yard. Praying for peace and comfort for Carrie and the family.

I had the pleasure of having Blair teach me a few different courses during 2016-2017. He was truly passionate about his work and ensuring his students reached their highest potential, no matter how hard we may have struggled. I am saddened to hear of his passing, but know I am lucky to have been taught and mentored by him. I am sure his lessons will still resonate and help me get my red seal in electrical soon. My thoughts are with Blair’s friends and family who’ve lost a great man.

Blair was my teacher in 2015, i would not have passed without his help. He would tutor me in his free time and would do 1 on 1 until I could understand the subject of the week. He left a lasting impression on me. And he helped me through a rough time in my life by just being understanding. He really was a great man and I am so deeply sorry for you loss.

I was one of Blair's students in 2015. It was one of the best years of my life. Blair and our main instructor Mark made the year great. There was a lot of laughing and jokes. When I found out I was getting a job I ran to Blair's office and he was the first one I told and gave me a high five. I gave him deer whistles for his truck cause they kept running into him :)
I'm sorry to his family and know that Blair really cared about his students and went above and beyond to get them ready after leaving college.

Blair was my instructor at NBCC in 2012. I was an older student and he made everyone feel welcome. Blair knew his stuff... it came naturally it seemed to all of us. He cared for every single one of us. Took pride in his work. Was always on the run, and always was ready with an encouraging word. The world lost an amazing teacher, and human being. Thank you Blair for believing in me and our entire class of 2012. I take with me everyday what you took the time to say to us. Forever remembered. RIP Blair. Condolences to the family. Never forget how many strangers lives he made better by his smile and kindness.

As Blairs neice, I have years of memories.
When Blair started coming to Hartland with Carla, my dad would never call him Blair, always calling him Bruce..no idea why, but it took me a while to remember his name
When I was 11, I visited Blair and Carla in Burlington. They took me to Canada's Wonderland. Blair was si excited to go on the old rickety wooden rollercoaster...I was not as excited. He drug me on it kicking and crying....and I loved it. We then rode all the coasters. I think of him everytime I get on one..if it wasnt for Blair, I may never have experienced it.
Blair had a beautiful smile. Always had great advice and looked at situations differently. I learned so many lessons growing up from him. He will forever hold a special part in my heart.....and greatly missed
