Obituary of Josephine Laura Turner
The death of Josephine Laura Turner of Bocabec, New Brunswick, occurred peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, October 11, 2004 at the Charlotte County Hospital. Born in Tryon, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Williams. Predeceased by her husband first husband Marvin Cunningham, second husband Sheldon Turner and a son John Beverly Cunningham. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (John) Allen of Chamcook, NB, Nancy (Paul) Reeves of Bocabec, NB; sons, Leighton (Helen) Cunningham of Nepean, Ont, Leonard (BettyAnn) Cinningham of Kanata, Ont, Wayne (Taryn) Cunningham of Bocabec, NB, Dale (Lynn) Cunningham of Port Coquitlam, BC; sisters, Ethel Mohan of Milltown, NB Rita Williams and Marie Cleghorn both of Lawrence Station, NB; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, with visiting on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral will be held 11 am Wednesday from the MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Doreen Daley officiating. Interment will take place in the Oak Bay Community Cemetery followed by a reception at the Bocabec United Church. For those who wish, donations to the Charlotte County SPCA or to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
