Obituary of Paul Bertram Mowatt
The death of Paul Bertram Mowatt of Bayside, New Brunswick occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 19, 2002. Born in Bayside, New Brunswick he was the son of the late George and Mary (Lank) Mowatt. He had served overseas during the Second World War. He was a twenty-five year veteran with the Metro Toronto Police Force. Moving home to Bayside he had been employed with HMS Transportation until his retirement in 1990. He was very active in several community groups in Charlotte County. Survived by wife, Jeane (Justason) Mowatt; sons, Michael of Toronto and Patrick of Bayside; brother, Murray Mowatt of Connecticut; grand-daughter, Heather Greenlaw of St. Andrews; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held 2 pm on Sunday from All Saints Anglican, St. Andrews with Canon John Matheson, Rev. Dean Annis, Pastor Norman Brown and Mr. Pat Garbut officiating. Interment will take place in the Sandy Point Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations to the Dementia Unit of the Passamaquoddy Lodge Nursing Home or to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
