Obituary of Myrtle Harriett Hooper
The death of Myrtle Harriett Hooper occurred at the Passamaquoddy Lodge Nursing Home, St. Andrews, NB on November 17, 2002. Born in Back Bay, NB she was the daughter of the late Peter and Lulu (Towers) Hooper. Predeceased by her parents, husband, Frederick Hooper; son, Perry Hooper; great grandson Corey Hooper; sister, Agnes Oliver and brother, Stinson Hooper. She is survived by three sisters, Beulah MacFarlane of Toronto, Goldie Mawhinney of Saint John and Alma Corey of Pennsylvania.; one brother, Guilford Hooper of St. Andrews; one daughter-in-law, Alberta Hooper of Bayside; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held 2 pm on Wednesday from the MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Anderson officiating. Interment will take place in the St. George Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dementia Unit at the Passamaquoddy Lodge Nursing Home or to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
