Obituary of Cora Clarke

Clarke, Cora Lynell … The death of Cora Lynell Clarke of St. Stephen, NB, wife of the late George Clarke, occurred on Monday, July 25, 2011 at her residence. Born on May 9, 1913 in Oakfield, ME, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Annie (Saunders) Graer. Cora had been Supervisor for Ware Knitters for a number of years and was a member of Kirk McColl United Church. Survived by three daughters: Joyce Douglas of St. Stephen, Ellen (Jerry) Sampson of Alabama and Georgianne (Michael) Flaherty of Connecticut; and predeceased by her parents, husband and two daughters, Barbara and Shirley. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks St., St. Stephen, NB (506) 466-3110. There will be no visitation or funeral service and a graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 11:00 am at the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
