Obituary of Dorothy Richardson

Richardson, Dorothy Mae – at the Charlotte County Hospital on Thursday, June 30th, 2011, Dorothy Mae (Painter) Richardson, wife of the late Robert N. Richardson of St Stephen, NB. Born in McAdam, NB a daughter of the late Harry & Lilian (Thomas) Painter. . A veteran of WW II she served as a Sergeant in the Canadian Armed Forces. She was a longtime member of St. Peters Church. For many years she had worked as a clerk at the old Metropolitan Store. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Sheehan (Barry) of Blacks Harbour, NB and Karen Ross (Bruce) of Waweig, NB; three sons, Robert (Linda) of McAdam, NB, Lorne (Joyce) of Ottawa, ON, and Neil of Milltown, NB; a special niece, Joyce Cleghorn; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by two brothers, William and Charles and a sister, Evelyn. There will be visitation at the Funeral Home on Sunday, July 3, 2011 from 4 – 8 pm. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 10:00 am from Humphreys Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bayside Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Extra Mural Foundation or any charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
