Obituary of Annie Velma Whirty
WHIRTY, ANNIE - At her residence with her husband and family by her side on Friday, November 26th, 2010; Annie Velma (Hatt) Whirty, wife of Allan Whirty of Maxwell Crossing, Old Ridge, NB. Born in L’Etang, NB, she is the daughter of the late Samuel & Ida (Leavitt) Hatt. . Surviving in addition to her husband Allan of 76 years are her daughters, Beatrice Jones of LeDuc, Alberta, Yvonne McIninch (Bobby) of Calais, Maine, Mary Lou MacDonald of Moncton, NB, brother Henry Hatt (Helen) of L’Etang, NB, sister, Alberta Hanley (Hilton) of Back Bay, NB, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews. By Annie’s request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A graveside memoria service will be held on saturday June 11th, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Maxwell Crossing Cemetery, Old Ridge, NB. Donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
