Obituary of J. Andrew Arseneau

ARSENEAU, J. ANDREW - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Monday March 28th, 2011, Joseph Andrew Arseneau, husband of Bessie Mary (Carter) Arseneau of Moore’s Mills, NB. Born in Rogersville, NB he was the son of the late Isidore and Mina (Martin) Arseneau. A veteran of The Korean Conflict Andrew served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1952 – 1958. Andrew was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion St Stephen St. Croix Branch # 9 for 45 years . Surviving in addition to his wife Bessie are his son Ronald (Shirlene) of Fredericton, and daughter Ellen McGlinchey (Jeff) of Oak Hill, 2 grandchildren Sarah & Justin, 2 brothers Orville (Betty) of Oak Bay, Ernest (Lillian) of St Stephen, 1 sister Irene Armstrong of Saint John, several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 4 brothers Joe, Arthur, Gerald and Johnny. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB (506 – 466 – 3110) from where the visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 31st, 2011 at 10:00 am. at Holy Rosary Church Union Street St Stephen, NB. The interment will follow in Milltown Catholic Cemetery, followed by a reception in the Holy Rosary Hall. A tribute to a veteran service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm. Donations to Lincourt Manor would be appreciated by the family.
