Obituary of Lina M. Vautour
VAUTOUR, LINA M. – at the Charlotte County Hospital on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011; Lina M. (Belliveau)Vautour of Milltown, NB. Born July 17, 1914 in St. Paul, NB she was the daughter of the late Henri & Bibienne (Cormier) Belliveau. Lina was a longtime member of St Stephen Roman Catholic Church serving on the CWL for many years. Lina worked many years with Charlotte County Hospital starting in the kitchen, transferring to the laundry. She also served as House Mother to many nurses in training at the former nurses residence. She is survived by 3 daughters,Yvonne Burns of Pickering, Ont, Lorette Fleming (Jock) of Oakville, Ont, Rhea McFadden of Chesley,Ont, 2 sons Leo(Gaetane)of Dieppe,NB and Ronald(Laraine)of St Stephen,15 grandchildren,23 great grandchildren,sisters Rita Leger of Rindge, New Hampshire, Minnie Surette of St.Catherines,Ont,Doris Blaquiere of Redcliff, Alberta, Hattie LeBlanc of St.Paul,NB and brother Aldoria Belliveau of Greenwood,NS,several cousins, nieces and nephews.. Lina was predeceased by a daughter Rita, 4 brothers Elie ,Victor, Acquilla,Denis and sister Lorette Belliveau. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB (506 – 466 – 3110) from where the visitation will be held on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 26th, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Milltown with Rev. Fr. Paul Doucette as celebrant. The interment will take place in Milltown Catholic Cemetery followed by a reception in St. Patrick’s Church Hall.
