Obituary of Gene Autrey Alexander

ALEXANDER,GENE A.– At the Charlotte County Hospital on Saturday,October 30th,2010;Gene Autrey Alexander of 43 Main Street St Stephen,with his niece Arlene Alexander and her husband Phil Robertson by his side. Born in St Stephen,NB; he is the son of the late Franklin and Madeline Florence (Goodine) Alexander. In his early days Gene worked as a cook with the Border Joy Restaurant in St Stephen. Gene is survived by brother Leo Alexander of Pomeroy Ridge, NB, niece Arlene Alexander(Phil Robertson)of St Stephen,NB,nephew Frankie Alexander (Theresa) of Ottawa,Ont,nieces and nephews, great nieces Sherri and Sally. Gene was predeceased by sister Mary Alexander. By Gene’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at Rollingdam Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Charlotte County SPCA or to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation.
