Obituary of Sherman Dale Henderson

HENDERSON, SHERMAN D. – At his residence on Tuesday, October 26th, 2010; Sherman Dale Henderson, husband of Hilda Louise (Chute) Henderson of Wilson’s Beach, NB. Born in Wilson’s Beach he is the son of the late Nelson and Hilda (Matthews) Henderson. For most of his life Sherman was a fisherman by trade and then took up carpentry in recent years. Surviving in addition to his wife Hilda of 53 years are his children, Scott (Lisa) and David, all of Campobello, NB, daughter Jill Matheson (Carmon) of St Stephen, NB, 2 sisters Helen Henderson and Bernadine Matthews both of Campobello Lodge, grandchildren, Amanda Matthews, Jeremy Henderson, Evan Henderson, Emily Henderson, Nicholas Matheson, great grandchildren Aiden Matthews, Chloe Matthews, Colby Henderson, Isabella Henderson, Gracelyn Henderson, nieces and nephews. Sherman was predeceased by 2 sisters Isabelle Mallock and Lorraine Jackson. Resting at his residence 284 Bunker Hill Road Wilson’s Beach, NB from where the family will receive friends after 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm Thursday evening. Friends are welcome to attend a graveside service on Friday, October 29th, 2010 at 2:00 pm at The New Wilson’s Beach Cemetery, Head Harbour Road. Donations to the Wilson’s Beach Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family.
