LEGACY, ERNEST J.. At the Charlotte County Hospital on Sunday, September 26th, 2010; Ernest John Legacy of Ledge Road St. Stephen, NB, husband of the late Mona(Daigle)Legacy. He is the son of the late Edward & Ethel (Dempsey) Legacy. Ernest drove truck for over 32 years. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. He is survived by 3 sons Wayne of St Stephen, Conroy (Sharon) of Toronto, Brian (Barb) of Alberta, 2 daughters Wanda Legacy and Debbie Murray (Gordon) all of St Stephen, NB, 13 grandchildren, John, Angela, Jeret, Jessica, Sarah, Joey, Samantha, Wendy, Carol, Kristine, Katie, Christopher, Gregory and Jamie, 6 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, Phillip (Rita) of Mohannes, Danny of St Stephen,Gussie(Barb)of BC, 5 sisters, Evelyn Smearer (Bunny) of Oak Hill, Vange Higgins (Joey) of Black’s Harbour, Carmaline Deveaux, of St Stephen, Martha Ross (Andy) of Mohannes, Eline Daigle of Moore’s Mills, NB, several nieces,nephews and cousins.Ernest was predeceased by 2 sons Cecil and Leroy, brother Wallace. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen,NB,(506 … 46 … 3110) from where the visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 … 4 and 7 … 9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 29th, at St Stephen Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m.The interment will follow in Milltown Catholic Cemetery.
