Obituary of Fern VanHorn

The death of Fern E. VanHorn of St. Stephen, occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital on March 27, 2004. Born in Douglas, North Dakota, USA, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Beulah (McClain) Taylor. Predeceased by her husband Walter VanHorn, Jr., she is survived by her daughter, Suzette VanHorn of St. Stephen; son, Mark VanHorn (Heather) of St. Stephen; sister, Edith Roberts of Woodburn, Oregon; several nieces and nephews. The memorial service was held 10 am on Tuesday from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Rev. Paul Riley officiating. Interment will take place in Fern Hill Cemetery, Saint John. For those who wish, donations to the Charlotte County SPCA or to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
