Obituary of Jean Elizabeth Marguerite Payne

PAYNE, JEAN E.M.. – At her residence on Sunday, May 16th, 2010; Jean Elizabeth Marguerite (McCartney) Payne of Calais Maine, U.S.A.. Born in McAdam, NB she is the daughter of the late Hildred (Atkinson) and Kenneth McCartney. She is survived by her daughter Toni May (Stephen) of St. Stephen, NB, 2 grandchildren, Kyle and Ian, Toni’s father James H. Payne of St. Stephen, NB, cousin William Hayman (Joan) of St. Stephen, NB. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB (506 – 466 – 3110) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, May 20th, 2010 at 11:00 am. Rev. Peter Fitch officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the Humphreys Community Room and Reception Centre. The interment will take place later in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB. In lieu of flowers donations to either the Charlotte County Relay for Life or Calais Relay for Life and to the Charlotte County SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
