Obituary of Marguerite Elizabeth Fairhead

FAIRHEAD, MARGUERITE E. - at her residence on Wednesday, May 5th, 2010; Marguerite Elizabeth Fairhead of Lincourt Manor , St. Stephen, NB. Born in Milltown, NB she is the daughter of the late Raymond & Sarah (Anderson) Fairhead. Marguerite is survived by her sister Dorothy Fairhead of Lincourt Manor, one niece Sally Slemin (Bruce) of Saint John, NB, grandnieces Rebekah Slemin and Emily Slemin and a few cousins. She was predeceased by 1 brother Robert and 1 sister Isabelle. For many years Marguerite worked at the Cotton Mill in Milltown and then later in her life at the School District 10 Office as a Secretary until her retirement. She was an active member of Milltown United Church where she taught Sunday School for many years, served on the CGIT and was also very involved with the Waweig Camp. There will be no visitation at the funeral home however friends are welcome to attend the funeral service in celebration of her life to be held on Monday, May, 10th, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at Milltown United Church. Rev. Ali Smith officiating. The interment will follow in St Stephen Rural Cemetery, to be followed by a reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
