Obituary of Carson McGlinchey
McGLINCHEY, B. CARSON - At the Charlotte County Hospital, on Sunday, March 7th, 2010; Beryl Carson McGlinchey of St. Stephen, NB, husband of the late Joyce (Thomas) McGlinchey. Born in St. Stephen, NB he is the son of the late Beryl and Lillian (MacFarlane) McGlinchey. Carson is survived by his daughter Mary (Becky) Snih of St. Stephen, 4 grandchildren, Andrew Snih, Lisa Collins, Mark McGlinchey, Peter McGlinchey,4 great grandchildren , 1 brother Norman (Florence) of Oak Hill, 3 sisters, Pearl Kaine of St. Stephen, Phyllis Russell (Layton) of Oak Hill, and Kaye McGibbon of Moore’s Mills, several nieces, nephews and cousins and a special friend Marilyn Steen. Carson was predeceased by his son Kenneth and sisters, Madeline Hiltz, Hazel Maudsley, and Annie Rideout. By Carson’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home however friends are welcomed to attend a memorial service in celebration of his life to be held in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, on Saturday, April 17th, 2010 at 11:00 am. A reception will immediately follow in the Humphreys Community Room and Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
