BROWN EDITH H. - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Friday, March 5th, 2010; Edith Helen (MacIntosh) Brown, of Wilson’s Beach, Campobello, NB; wife of the late Clyde R. Brown. Born in Scotland she is the daughter of the late Donald & Elizabeth (Stuart) MacIntosh. For many years Edith worked with H.W. Welch Company, a branch of Connors Bos located on Campobello. She was a longtime member of the RCL Ladies Auxillary Branch # 83. She was also an Associate Legion Member. Edith was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Heather O’Reilly (Dieter) of Vancouver, BC, 3 sons Raymond (Tami), Ralph (Dianne) all of Welshpool, NB , Robert (Jean) of Poteau, Oklahama, USA, 11 grandchildren, Tunya,, Nicole, Mark, Monica, Raymond, Megan, Cary, Renee, Priscilla, Pattie and Todd, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Margaret, Rosemary, Jean Anne, 2 brothers Louis and Donald. She was predeceased by one grandson Stacey, sisters Sheila, Connie and Liz and 3 brothers Jack, Bob and Alan. Resting at St. Anne’s Anglican Church Hall in Welshpool, NB from where the family will receive visitors on Monday, March 8th from 7 … 9 pm. The funeral service in celebration of Edith’s life will be held on Tuesday March 9th, 2010 at 2:00 pm at St. Anne’s Anglican Church Welshpool, NB. The interment will follow in Wilsons Beach Cemetery. A reception will immediately follow the interment in St. Anne’s Church Hall. In Edith’s memory donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
