FITZSIMMONS, ANNIE M. – At the Charlotte County Hospital on Wednesday, January 13th, 2010; in her 89th year; Annie May ( Parker) Fitzsimmons of Wilson’s Beach, NB, wife of the late Herbert R. Fitzsimmons. . Born in St. Andrews, NB,she is the daughter of the late Charley & Myrtle Parker Annie was a longtime active member of Wilson’s Beach United Pentecostal Church. Annie worked for many years with the Sardine Canning Factory in Campobello. She is survived by her 3 sons, Robert (Nora) of Wilson’s Beach, NB, Neal ( Nancy) of Lubec, Maine, Sharley (Betty)of Tennessee, USA. grandchildren, Sharley Fitzsimmons, Jody Williams, Kelly Jo Matthews, Kelly Fitzsimmons, Luke Fitzsimmons, Bobby Fitzsimmons, Melissa Seavy, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, 1 brother Everett (Avis) and 1 sister Mildred, all of St. Stephen, NB,cousins, nieces and nephews.Annie was also survived by a very special friend Anna Fletcher. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Resting at Wilson’s Beach United Pentecostal Church from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January, 16th, 2010 at 2:00 pm. The interment will follow in Head Harbour Cemetery followed by a reception in the church hall. The family will receive friends and relatives at a time of visitation to be held at the church on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wilson’s Beach United Pentecostal Church, Head Harbour Cemetery Fund or charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
