Obituary of Helen Dorothy Fraser

FRASER, HELEN D. – At the Charlotte County Hospital on Monday, July 27th, 2009; Helen Dorothy (Brewer) Fraser of Milltown, NB; wife of the late Donald Fraser Sr. Born in Milltown she is the daughter of the late George & Florence (MacDonald) Brewer. Helen was known as a very dedicated and hard working lady. In her early years she worked for Ganongs Chocolates. She then went on to work at the Canadian Cotton Mill. until 1957. and for a company known as Colour All. Helen also dedicated her life to providing nursing care with such organizations as Eleanor Beck Nursing Home, Elm Lodge Nursing Home, and Lincourt Manor. To those who knew Helen she was a very light hearted and outgoing person, well known to her friends as laughingly outspoken. Getting together with family , her brothers and sisters brought her many good times.After her mother died in 1976 she was convinced to travel with family and saw such places as Tennessee. Helen was thought of by her family as a very spiritual person. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and its CWL. Helen is survived by her son Donald Jr, of Milltown, NB, one sister Loretta Duplessis of Upper Mills, NB, one brother David “Bunn” Brewer of Brantford, Ont, brother in law Earl Fraser (Bernice) of Old Ridge, NB, several nieces and nephews.. She was predeceased by ten brothers and sisters. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB (506 – 466 – 3110) from where the family will receive friends and family during a time of visitation on Wednesday, July 29th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 30th, 2009 at 11:00 am from St. Stephen Catholic Church, Milltown, NB. The interment will follow in Milltown Catholic Cemetery.
