Obituary of Floyd R. Johnson
JOHNSON, FLOYD R. SR. - At his residence, on Friday, July 24th, 2009; Floyd Roderick Johnson Sr; husband of Marion Frances (Mowatt) Johnson of Bayside, NB. Born in Rollingdam, NB; he is the son of the late Roderick D. & Margaret (Nixon) Johnson. Floyd was a member of All Saints Anglican Church, St. Andrews, NB and Christ Church Elmsville. Surviving in addition to his wife Marion are his son Floyd Jr (Karen) of Oak Bay, NB, 3 daughters Anne McDonald (Todd), Rosemary Johnson (Roy McLaggan) all of Fredericton, Elaine Porter (Donald) of Doaktown, NB, 6 grandchildren, Michelle, Amanda, Devon, Michael, Katie, Ryan, 2 sisters Carol Gowan of Waweig, NB, Christine Woods (John) of Birney Lake, NB, 2 brothers David (Marie) of Calais, Maine, and Gary (Irene) of St. Stephen, NB, one aunt and one uncle, several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visitation at the funeral home however friends are welcome to attend the funeral service to be held in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB (506 … 466 … 3110) on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 at 1:00 pm. The interment will follow in Oak Bay Cemetery followed by a reception in the Bayside Community Hall. In lieu of flowers donations to the Christ Church in Elmsville, Charlotte County Cancer Society or NB Extra Mural Hospital Foundation … St. Stephen Unit would be appreciated by the family.
