Obituary
Obituary of Terry Lee Greene
With her family by her side, Terry went to be with her Lord on Saturday May 2, 2009 at her home in Wilson’s Beach after a long illness. She was born in Machias, Maine on December 16, 1944, the daughter of the late Harold Gardner and Rowena (London) Gardner. Terry is survived by her three loving children, Trevor Greene and wife Jodie of St. Stephen and Mac Greene and wife Michelle of Wilson’s Beach; daughter, Tracy Cline and husband Gerald (Jeff) of Welshpool; seven loving grandchildren, Brendan and Megan Greene of St. Stephen, Jeremy and Jessica Greene of Wilson’s Beach, Nicholas, Jeffrey and Jordan Cline of Welshpool; and one precious great granddaughter Larissa Cline of Welshpool; stepmother, Edith Gardner along with two sisters Susan Aldrich of Lubec and Mary Hopkins of Bath; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband M. Afton Greene. Terry lived in Lubec with her grandparents, Cavalier and Clara London, until she graduated high school. After marrying she moved to Campobello where she was well known and respected by the community. Upon having children she remained at home to raise them, returning to work at the Bank of Nova Scotia, retiring in 2001. She was very active and involved with the Friends of Head Harbour Light station, Baptist church committees, and various fund raising groups. She loved being outside gardening and whale watching, and enjoying the birds that visited her feeders. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Wilson’s Beach United Baptist Church on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 2:00pm. A reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charlotte County Cancer Society. On line condolences and donations may be placed at www.humphreysfh.com
