Obituary of J. Edward Doyle

Doyle, J. Edward - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 12th, 2009; Jack Edward Doyle of Queen St, St. Stephen, NB. Edward was born in Thornhill Dumfries Scotland May 10, 1937. A veteran of the Korean Conflict Edward served with the British Royal Navy for 12 years as an electrician leaving with the rank of Chief Electrical Artificier. Returning home he worked in a number of different industries in the electrical field. Edward is survived by his two sons, James Keith Edward Doyle (Sue Dawn) of St. George, NB, Joseph Kenneth Lyle Doyle (Melissa Amber) of Edmonton Alberta, one brother David, 5 grandchildren, Whitney Marie Davidson, Olivia Grace Davidson, Destiny Claira Doyle, Keisha Sue Doyle and Elizabeth Katrina Doyle. By Edward’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home, however friends are welcome to attend a memorial service to be held on Thursday, April 16th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB.(506 … 466 … 3110) A light reception will follow in the Humphreys Community Room and Reception Centre.
