Obituary of Dorothy Jean Sawyer

SAWYER, DOROTHY J. - A the Charlotte County Hospital on Thursday, October, 9th, 2008; Dorothy Jean (Buck) Sawyer, wife of the late Bryce Arnold Sawyer of St. Stephen, NB. Born in Moncton, NB she is the daughter of the late Reuban & Annie (MacFarlane) Buck. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Carolyn Wilson (Paul) of St. Stephen, NB, 5 brothers Donald (Annie), Raymond (Gwen), Aubrey (Ruth), all of Moncton, Kenneth (Ann) of Riverview, Eldon (Barb) of Ottawa, Ont, 2 sisters Joyce Mitchell of Moncton and Marion Coates of Irishtown, 3 grandchildren, Nancy Wilson, Patti Donnelly (Brian) and Jennifer Fraser ( Wayne), 3 great grandchildren, Ashley Porter, Anthony Fraser, and Jarrett Heuff, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by 2 brothers, Harold and Everett. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB from where the service will be held in the chapel on Sunday, October, 12th, 2008 at 2:00 pm. The interment take place in the Oak Bay Rural Cemetery followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion, 43 Queen Street, St. Stephen. Visitation at the funeral home will be on Saturday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm.
