Obituary of Eva J. Chute

CHUTE, EVA J. - Unexpectedly at the Charlotte County Hospital on Wednesday, May 21st, 2008; Eva J. (Fitzsimmons) (Mitchell) Chute, wife of Darrell Chute of Welshpool, Campobello, NB. Born in Campobello,NB, she is the daughter of Elizabeth Fitzsimmons of Welshpool, NB and the late Bernard Gallagher. In prior years Eva worked in several restaurants as well as the sardine factory in and around Campobello. She was a member of North Road Baptist Church and a former member of Wilsons Beach United Baptist Church, serving in several capacities such as the choir, Sunday School teacher. She had a great love for music being involved with the Salt Singers from Lubec. For approxiamately 15 years she was involved with the Paramedic Program of Campobello. Surviving in addition to her husband Darrell and mother Elizabeth are her daughters Terri Breton (Jason) of Turner, Maine, Christine Wade of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Maureen Lee Dean ( Albert) of Oak Bay, NB, sisters,Mary Swelin (Cliff) of Ottawa, brothers, Sonny (Mildred) of Sabbatus, Maine, Carleton (Elaine) of Lubec, Maine, grandchildren, Ashley Michelle Breton and Kirsten Rene Breton, Bonny Mae Bahna and Kenneth Darrell Wade, cousins, nieces and nephews. Eva was predeceased by her first husband, Willington Mitchell. Resting at North Road Baptist Church from where the service will be held on Saturday, May 24th, 2008 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place in North Road Cemetery, Welshpool, NB followed by a reception at the church hall.
