Obituary of Gerald Cornish

The death of Gerald Cornish occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital on December 2, 2003. Born in Upper Mills NB, he was the only son of the late Richard and Floria (Greenlaw) Cornish Predeceased by his wife Joanne Armstrong (Maxwell) Cornish and daughter, daughter Susan (Cornish) Ryder of Hamilton, Ontario. Survived by one son, Gerald Cornish of Upper Mills; five daughters, Judy Howland of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Linda Thompson of Hamilton, Ontario, Joanne McCray of Lencolnville, Maine, Elsie Sutherland of Upper Mills, New Brunswick, and Karen Hummell-Newell of Bakers Lake, Nunavut; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family received friends at MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen. The funeral was held 11am on Thursday, December 4, 2003 from the MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Phil Anderson officiating. The pallbearers were Stephen Sutherland, Peter Johnson, Glen Johnson. Interment took place in the Upper Mills Cemetery.
