Obituary of Dorothy Evelyn Charlton
CHARLTON, DOROTHY E. At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007; Dorothy Evelyn (McDowell) Charlton, of St. Andrews, NB, wife of the late T. Fynes. Born in St. Andrews, NB she is the daughter of the late James Ross & Myrtle V. (Stewart) McDowell. For many years Dorothy was a member of All Saints Anglican Church, St. Andrews and a member of their Church Guild, a member of the St. Andrews Royal Canadian Legion, the Order of the Eastern Star and the St. Andrews Curling Club. Dorothy is survived by her sons Robert Fynes Charlton (Janet) of St. Andrews, Harry James Charlton (Sharon) of Saint John, one daughter Mary Ann Kane (John) of Ottawa, Ont, sisters Elvena Eldridge(Carman) of St. Andrews, 5 grandchildren, Amy, Alexander, Stephen, Alison and Jill, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son William and brother James. Resting at All Saints Anglican Church, 75 King Street, St. Andrews,NB from where the service will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2007 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place in St. Andrews Rural Cemetery, followed by a reception in the church hall. Visiting will be at the church on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Passamaquoddy Lodge Foundation Building Fund or charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
