Obituary of Lucy Mitchell
MITCHELL, LUCY … At the Charlotte County Hospital , St. Stephen, Nb on Saturday, September 29th, 2007; Lucy (Homer) Mitchell, wife of the late Thaddeus Mitchell of Welshpool, Campobello, NB. Born in Jacket River, NB she is the daughter of the late John & Gertrude Homer. Lucy was a very active and much loved member of Wilsons’ Beach Baptist Church.. She is survived by her son William (Sally) of Fredericton and daughter Betty MacDonald (Drummond) of Barrie , Ontario, brothers John Homer of Ontario and Arthur of Dalhousie, NB, 5 grandchildren Jennifer Mitchell, Shelley, Dwayne, Byron and Kimberly MacDonald and 2 great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Lucy was predeceased by 4 sisters, Sylvia, Mabel, Winnifred and Elsie. Resting at Wilsons’ Beach Baptist Church , Campobello, NB from where the visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007 from 10:00 a.m.until 12:00 noon. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Old Wilsons Beach Cemetery. Donations to the charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
