DOUGHTY, LILLIAN Z - Unexpectedly at the Charlotte County Hospital on Saturday, September, 15th, 2007; Lillian Zeles (Camick) Doughty of 277 Carleton Street St. Andrews, NB, wife of the late Lawrence Edgar Doughty. Born in Deer Island she is the daughter of the late William and Stella (Eaton) Camick. For many years she was employed with Passamaquoddy Lodge. Upon retiring she was the owner and proprietor of Doughtys Grocery and was an avid quilter. Lillian is survived by two sons Donald (Shirley) of Deer Island, Herbert (Madeline) of Saint John, daughter Alice Groom (Gary) of St. Andrews, one brother Howard Camick ( Katherine) two sisters Sadie Arbeau, and Hazel Justason, all of Deer Island, 8 grandchildren Bill, David, Michael, Kevin, Ken, Robert, Douglas and Shelly, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence, brothers Edward and Frankie, sister Effie Bradford. Resting at the United Baptist Church in St. Andrews from where the visitation will be held on Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the church on Tuesday, September 18th, 2007 at 11:00 am. The interment will follow in St. Andrews Rural Cemetery. Donations to the Charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
