Obituary of Burton Cunningham
Cunningham, Burton D. – at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews on Friday, July 27th, 2007, Burton Douglas Cunningham, husband of Geneva (Greenlaw) Cunningham of 56 years; of Bayside, NB.Born in St. Stephen,NB; he was the son of the late Doug & Marion (Clinch) Cunningham. Burton worked in many fields over the years such as, the fishing, mining and lumbering industries as well as for the Dept.of Fisheries. Surviving in addition to his wife Geneva are his 2 sons Gordon (Bess) of St.George,NB,Verne(Gail)of Bocabec, NB,2 daughters Karen McGowan(Ron Steffans)of Newmarket,Ontario,Darlene Woodland(Wayne)of Quispamsis,NB, brother William of Georgetown, Ontario, and sister Frances Lawrence of St.Stephen,NB,8 grandchildren,5 great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at MacDonald Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen,NB (506 - 466 - 3110) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday,July 31st,2007 at 1:00 pm. The interment will take place in Bocabec Cemetery followed by a reception at the Bocabec United Church Hall. Vistation at the funeral home will be on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 pm.
