Obituary of Lenora Phinney
PHINNEY, LENORA G. … At her residence on Monday, June 25th, 2007; Nora Grace (Townsand) Phinney of Campobello Lodge, Campobello, NB; wife of the late Ashton Phinney. Born in Eastport, Maine, U.S.A. she was the daughter of the late Austin & Nellie (Hayden) Townsand. Nora was a member of the Wilsons Beach United Baptist Church. Nora is survived by her daughter Nellie Matthews (Winston) and son John (Sandra) all of Wilsons Beach, NB,brother Austin of Calais, Maine and a sister Pearl Miliano of Sears Port Maine, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Nora was predeceased by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Resting at the United Baptist Church in Wilsons Beach, Campobello, NB, from where the visitation will be held on Thursday morning, June 28th, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon The funeral service will follow that afternoon in the church at 2:00 pm followed by the interment in the Old Wilson’s Beach Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Old Wilsons Beach Cemetery or to the United Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
