Obituary of Alice Cockburn
The death of Alice McStay (Wallace) Cockburn of St. Andrews, New Brunswick, occurred at the Passamaquoddy Lodge Nursing Home, St. Andrews, New Brunswick on June 13, 2007. Born in St. Andrews, New Brunswick on April 16, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Astrid M. (Johannessen) Wallace. Predeceased by her husband, Robert Edwin Cockburn and her sister, Delphine C. MacLellan. She is survived by two nieces, Janet (Barry) Toole of Fredericton, New Brunswick and Judy (John) Gibson of St. John’s, Newfoundland; two nephews, Robert Anderson of Montreal, Quebec and Michael Anderson of Montreal, Quebec; first cousin, Leonard Revang of Norway and several grand nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at All Saints Anglican Church, King Street, St. Andrews, with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral will be held 11 am. on Saturday from the church with Canon John Matheson officiating. Interment will take place in the St. Andrews Rural Cemetery, followed by a lunch reception at the church hall. Flowers would be greatly appreciated or remembrances to All Saints Anglican Church or to the Charlotte County SPCA would be appreciated.
