Obituary of Maurice Leslie Thompson

The death of Maurice Leslie Thompson of St. Stephen, occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital on March 1, 2006. Born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Calvin (Wes) and Stella (Johnson) Thompson. Predeceased by sisters, Frances Farnham and Irene Little; brother Lorne Thompson. Survived by his wife, Loretta (Johnson) Thompson; daughter, Linda (Bruce Taylor) Thompson; step-daughter, Marlene (Kenny) Chase; sons, Leslie (Laura) Thompson and Steven Thompson; step-son, Gary Greenlaw; sister, Sarah Barry; brothers, Blair (Frances) Thompson and George Thompson; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 1 pm on Thursday from MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, with Rev. Dean Annis officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
