Obituary of Grace Lillian Johnson
Grace Lillian Johnson, 89, died at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, New Brunswick on February 17, 2006. She was born August 31, 1916 to James (Blutch) and Maryetta MacIntosh. Her husband David Deinstadt Johnson predeceased her in 1991. All her siblings also predeceased her, brother, Kenneth; sisters, Katherine Goodrow and Elizabeth MacIntosh. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Anne Johnson of Gabriola Island, British Columbia; son, David W. Johnson and wife Sandra of West Warwick, Rhode Island; granddaughter, Deborah McLain of Edmonton, Alberta; grandsons, Jason Johnson, Troy Reynolds and Alan Landry of Woodland, Maine; also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her special friend Mary Lou Graham. Grace lived for over 60 years at 429 Milltown Blvd., St. Stephen and donated regularly to her favorite organization, the Milltown United Church of Canada. She was a regular figure on the St. Croix golf course until her health prevented her from playing in the late 1990's. Many thanks are especially extended to those at the Charlotte County Hospital, Dr. Perry Spencer, and the St. Stephen Seniors Complex staff and clientele. Graveside service will be held at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery, Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 11am with Rev. Boyce Martin officiating. Donations to the Milltown United Church of Canada on Milltown Blvd., St. Stephen will be accepted in lieu of flowers.
