Obituary of FRANCES G. FINCH

Campobello Island, N.B. and Harrison - Frances G. Finch, 82, passed away February 12, 2006, at her daughter's, Irene, home in Harrison. She was born February 25, 1923, in Lubec, the daughter of Ozro and Euphemia Newman of Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She loved being on 'The Island' and watching the beautiful sunsets each night from her home overlooking the water and visits from her friends and family. Her life was spent caring for her family and loving the Lord, her God. She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Lawrence; and her husband of 45 years, Wilson, who passed away in 1990. She is survived by two sons, Ken and his wife, Deborah, of Oxnard, California; John and his partner, Doug Mays, of St. Petersburg, Florida; two daughters, Irene and her partner, Linda LaBonte, of Harrison; and Kathy Richardson and her husband, David, of Dedham; six grandchildren, Jason Finch and his wife, Kathryn, of Charlotte, N.C., Gregory Finch and his wife, Amy, of Wilmington, N.C., Nathan Finch of Belmont, Mass., Dr. Sarah Finch of Danbury, Conn., Andrew Richardson and Danielle Richardson of Dedham. She is also survived by her sister, Berneta Pearce of Truro, Nova Scotia; nephews, Larry Pearce and his wife, Lynn, of Calgary, Alberta and Norman Pearce and his wife, Shirley, of Truro, Nova Scotia; several great-nephews and great-nieces. Visitation will be held 5-7p.m. American time, 6-8p.m. Canadian time, Friday, February 17, at the North Road Baptist Church, Campobello Island, N.B. The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. American time, 2 p.m. Canadian time Saturday, February 18, at the North Road Baptist Church, Campobello Island, N.B., with burial to follow at the North Road Baptist Church cemetery.
