Obituary of Mary Elva Foster

The death of Mary Elva Foster of St. Stephen occurred at the Lincourt Manor on June 26, 2003. Born in Digdeguash, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Scullin) McAleenan. Predeceased by first husband, Louis William (Bill) O'Brien and second husband, Jerry Foster; son Daniel O'Brien; sisters, Eileen McAleenen, Margaret Carey and Roberta Guilfoile; brother, Gerald McAleenan. She is survived by son, Jerome (Jerry) O'Brien and his wife Helen of Ottawa; brother, Harry McAleenan of Digdeguash; sister, Madeline Oliver of Boston; grandchildren, Sarah and Jayne O'Brien of Ottawa; several nieces and nephews. Resting at MacDonald Select Community Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral will be held 10 am on Monday from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Rev. Paul Riley officiating. Interment will take place at Milltown Catholic Cemetery.
