SPIRES BELINDA Ann (STICKNEY) - Belinda passed away peacefully with family at her side, on February 16, 2021. Born in
Besides her father Jack, Belinda was predeceased by her dearest aunt, Emma (Stickney) Winans, who played a major role in her upbringing and her infant brother, William James.
Surviving besides her husband Bryan of 50 years, Belinda leaves behind her daughter Barbara and son – in – law Mike England of Chamcook, NB, daughter Bridgette and partner Jeremy Wallace of Halifax, NS and her only special grand daughter Sydney England of St. Andrews, NB. Belinda was comforted and truly treasured by her special brothers and sisters in – law, Daryl and Christine Spires, of St. Stephen and Stephen and Tammy Spires of
Belinda worked as office manager, receptionist and chairside Dental Assistant at her husband’s Dental office at the St. Andrews Health Centre for 46 years.
As a lifetime member of All Saints Anglican Church,
Belinda and her husband Bryan were founding members of the “By – The – Sea Rounders” Round Dance Club. They are past president’s of the “Round Dance Leader’s Association of NB”and past president’s of the “Maritime Caller’s and Cuer’s Association” and past president’s of the “Town and Country Square Dance Club” of
Belinda was an avid reader and loved many different genres. She was also an avid knitter who made many a kitty blanket over the many years for her “grand kittens” and the SPCA. She also knit scarves for family and her grand daughters’ hockey teams.
Belinda’s love of family, sense of humour, empathy for others and her way with teaching others as well as placing her family and others before herself, is a true tribute to her. May she rest in peace.
Following cremation, a private family service of Christian Burial and interment will be held.
