Obituary of Marion Tidd

TIDD MARY MADELINE (MARION) - At the Passamaquoddy Lodge in St. Andrews, NB on Monday, November 23, 2020; Marion (Birch) Tidd. Born in Miscouche, PEI she is the daughter of the late Milford & Sophie (Gallant) Birch.
  
Marion was very happy to be a stay at home mom raising her 6 children. When she wasn’t busy doing the many things that moms do for their kids, she was always cooking and knitting. When she had a moment to enjoy for herself she really loved playing cards with family and friends.
  
Marion is survived by four daughters Elaine Tidd, St Andrews; Diana Tidd (Ross Wilson), Lawrence Station; Bernice McCurdy (Roger), Chamcook; Patricia Tidd (Sonny Ingersoll), Summerside, PEI; one son Nelson Tidd, St Andrews; daughter in law  Janet (Shaw) Tidd of Riverview, one brother Reginald Birch,Freeland, PEI; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
 
Marion was predeceased by her loving husband Llewellyn, her son Louie, 2 brothers Earl and Albert; 2 sisters Theresa and Amy.
 
At Marion’s request there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will take place in the spring at St. Andrews Rural Cemetery.
 
Marion held two Charities close to her heart. Her request, in lieu of flowers donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or to the Passamaquoddy Lodge would be appreciated by the family. On line condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
