Obituary of Catherine Mary Lord

Catherine Mary “Kaye” Lord, wife of the late Murray Lord, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Passamaquoddy Lodge.  She was 93.  

A long time resident of St. Andrews, Kaye will be remembered for her many years of service with the Ladies Auxilary and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #8, as well as her active volunteer work in the community.  
She is predeceased by her husband Murray Lord, her parents Edward “Joe” and Hannah (Traynor) Allen; her sister Josephine Shoenberger, and brother Patrick Allen.

Kaye is survived by her daughters, Anne Raye (Pat) of Bayside, Susan McLeod (Malcolm) of Fredericton, and Cindy Moore (Joe) of Lincoln; grandchildren Ryan, Alison, and Erin Raye, Ian and Alex McLeod, and Corey and Joel Moore; great grandchildren Isabelle and Everett McLeod, and Clark and Ross Bartlett; and nieces and nephews.  

Kaye will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at Saint Andrew’s Catholic Cemetery.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.  

The arrangements are under the care and direction of Humphrey’s Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen.
