Obituary of Raymond Earl Moses

MOSES RAYMOND E. - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Earl Moses at the age of 73. Raymond passed away peacefully at home in Birch Cove on Friday, August 5th, 2016 after a 13 month courageous battle with cancer. Raymond was born in Eastport, Maine, on April 6th, 1943, he was the only child of the late Perley and Louise (Rogerson) Moses.. He lived in “ The Capital” of Deer Island, NB for 12 years, then moved to St. Andrews, NB where he spent the rest of his life. Raymond was a hard worker all of his life. He loved hunting and spending time on the water. He was a life long member of Spruce Hill Lodge. Raymond will be missed by his wife Cathy, his son Fred (Dianne), stepson Tim (Alysen) and step daughter Tammy (Mike), grandchildren Trent, Jesse, Brett, MacKenzie, and Jonathan, sisters … in … law Jeannie, Dianne (Lloyd) and brother … in … law Bob (Heather), nieces Lyndy and Leanna (Bob) and great nieces and nephews Jonah, Anita, Keating, Drue, Grace and Leighton, his life long best friend Roger, his 2 cats Gemma and Angel as well as many cousins and many many friends. A memorial service in celebration of Raymonds’ life will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 10th, 2016 at 2:00 pm at All Saints Anglican Church, 77 King Street St Andrews, NB. Archdeacon John Matheson will officiate. A reception will immediately follow in the church hall. The family will receive friends at the church during a time of visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 pm … 7:00 pm.
