Obituary of Harry Melvin Sampson
SAMPSON, HARRY M. - at the age of 72, peacefully at his residence, in the presence of his family, Harry Melvin Sampson; husband of Evelyn (Parks) Sampson of St. Andrews, NB. Born in St. Stephen, NB he is the son of the late Clarence & Elizabeth Sampson. For almost 30 years Harry worked with the Department of Fisheries & Oceans at the Biological Research Station as a technician. Harry was well known to his friends as a true outdoorsman, enjoying the sport of golf, hunting & fishing. Surviving in addition to his wife Evelyn are his two daughters Joyce (John) MacFarlane, Kim (Gordon) Lankisch, 5 grandchildren, Evan MacFarlane, Lauren MacFarlane, Sampson Lankisch, Isaac Lankisch, Zeke Lankisch, several sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews. Harry was predeceased by his parents Clarence & Elizabeth, one sister Jean Roy and one brother Richard Hendricks. The funeral service in celebration of his life will be held on Monday, May, 19th, 2014 at 2:00 pm at All Saints Anglican Church, King St, St. Andrews, NB. A reception will follow in the church hall, followed by the interment at St. Andrews Rural Cemetery.
