Obituary of Paul Ralph Hooper
HOOPER, PAUL R. … Unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 15th, 2014; Paul Ralph Hooper, husband of Suella (McCullough) Hooper of Upper Mills, NB. Born in Back Bay, NB he is the son of the late Ralph W. & Ellen (Lee) Hooper. For many years Paul worked for himself in the fishing industry in an around the St. Andrews area, fishing salmon. He and his wife Suella enjoyed living in the Chamcook area raising their children. Surviving in addition to his wife Suella are his 2 daughters Allecia True of Oromocto, NB, Natalie Sode of St. Stephen, NB, 7 grandchildren Lance Hooper, Julie Somerville, Christopher True, Jennifer Richardson, Erica True, Matthew Sode, and Tracy Sode and 5 great grandchildren, Madisyn, Charles & Jacob True, Cole Hooper & Owen Somerville, 1 brother Leonard of Back Bay, 2 sisters Norma Haughn (Calvert) of Chamcook, NB, Jeannie Smith of Chamcook, NB. Paul was predeceased by his son Bradley in 1994. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 … 466 … 3110) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, February 20th, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Pastor Jody MacBeth officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the Humphreys Community Room and Reception Centre. The interment will take place later in the spring at St. Andrews Rural Cemetery.
