Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Tinker
TINKER, MARY - at the Charlotte County Hospital on Friday, November 29th, 2013; Mary Elizabeth Tinker, of Tower Hill, NB. Born in Black’s Harbour, NB she is the daughter of Christine (Newman) Dow and step father John Dow of Little Ridge, NB and the late Harold Cline. Mary worked for Cooke’s Acqualture, for many years. Mary loved camping in the summer time at Dee Island Point Campground. Mary was well known loved for her ability to instigate family gatherings by using birthdays and other celebrations to get together. She loved decorating her house for any special holiday like Christmas, Halloween, Easter. Her greatest love was spoiling her granddaughter Ella. She is survived by her mother Christine Dow, her companion Rodney Merchant of Tower Hill, NB, daughter Vanessa Kinney (Ben) of Bethel, NB, son Patrick Tinker (Alisha Roberts) of Tower Hill, NB, 1 granddaughter Ella, her husband John Tinker of St. Stephen, brothers Anthony Cline (Angela) of St Stephen, NB, Clayton Cline of Fort McMurray, Alberta, 2 sisters Maria Newman (Ross Little) of Bartletts Mills, NB and Christina Funke (Peter) of Calgary, Alberta, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was predeceased by her brother Graham Kenneth. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB, E3L 2B2 (506 – 466 – 3110) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Monday, December 2nd, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Canon John Matheson officiating. The interment will follow in Moore’s Mills Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm.
