Obituary of Ethel Parsons

PARSONS, ETHEL - Peacefully in the presence of her family, at the Charlotte County Hospital on Thursday, November 22, 2012; Ethel (Heckbert)Parsons, wife of the late Lloyd Parsons of the St. Croix Retirement Community. Born in Central Bedeque, PEI she is the daughter of the late John Wesley & Ethel Winnifred(Gould)Heckbert. For many years Ethel was the owner & proprietor with her husband Lloyd of Parsons Printing. She was a longtime member of Union Street Baptist Church and a faithful servant for its WMS. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Downey(Steven)of Fredericton,NB,son Brian(Patty)of St Stephen,NB,grandchildren Karen Downey, Michael(Jill)Downey, Samantha(Jamie)Kinney and Jarod(Courtney)Parsons, 5 great grandchildren, her sister Ella McEwen (Clifford) of Saskatchewan, and Ernest Heckbert(Velda)of Summerside,PEI, several nieces,nephews and cousins. Ethel was predeceased by many brothers & sisters. The funeral service will be held on Sunday,November 25th,2012 at 2:00 pm at Union Street Baptist Church,St.Stephen,NB. A reception will immediately follow in the church hall followed by the interment at Moore’s Mills Rural Cemetery.
