Obituary of Sheldon Cleghorn
CLEGHORN SHELDON - On Saturday, November 23rd, 2019; Sheldon Edmund Cleghorn, husband of the late Trudy Cleghorn of Oak Bay, NB. Born in St. Stephen, NB he is the son of the late Kenneth & Margaret Irene (Messer) Cleghron. Sheldon worked for many years with Anglophone South School District as a school bus driver. As well, he was the owner proprietor of Cleghorn Sales & Service. He ran 5 dump trucks while also owning and operating 6 apartment buildings. Sheldon loved to travel, ski doo, spend time at his camp. He was very active in horse pulling, had a quiet love for playing the guitar. Those who knew Sheldon well, remember him loving to dance and and acting a fool to be the centre of attention. Sheldon had a great love for the out doors. Sheldon is survived by 3 daughters Sarah Cleghorn , Kimberley Cleghorn, both of Oak Bay, NB, and Loretta Cleghorn (Rick) of Little Ridge, NB, his 2 sons Sheldon Jr (Carrie) of Oak Bay, NB, and Anthony (Dean) of Smiths Falls, ON, 10 grand children Shelby, Roderick, Gracie, Hillary, Lydia, Cali, Sheldon(Colby) , Tilliah, Jarah and Ethan, 2 great grandchildren Kinsley and Audrey, 1 sister Doreen Greenlaw of Waweig, NB, 4 brothers Darrell of Waweig, NB, David of Oak Bay, NB, Ronnie, (Muriel) of Waweig, NB, Kenny (Louise) of Ontario, 3 sisters in law Mary Faith Cleghorn of Leverville, NB, Shirley of Oak Bay, NB, nieces, nephews and cousins. Sheldon was predeceased by 4 brothers Wilfred, Burton, Ralph & Harold, 4 sister in laws Lorna, Sally, Jean & Rose. There will be no visitation, however friends are welcomed to attend a memorial service to be held on Monday, December 2nd, 2019 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB.
