STUART STILLMAN L. … Unexpectedly at the Charlotte County Hospital on Wednesday, November 14th, 2018; Stillman “Stilly” Leslie Stuart, husband of Shirley (Dickinson) Stuart of St. Stephen, NB. Born in St. Stephen, NB ; he is the son of the late A. Stillman Stuart & Elizabeth (Wilkins). Stilly who has passed on; his beloved daughter Susan Stuart has been waiting for him for 39 years in heaven. He is survived by his beloved wife Shirley of 61 ¾ years, his daughter Cindy Stuart Jaso of Austin, Texas, son Kevin Stuart and his wife Crystal of St. Stephen, NB, grandsons Michael and Jacob Jaso of Texas, granddaughter Emily Marie Jaso of New York and a great granddaughter Vanessa Jaso of Texas, sisters Charlotte Gowan of St. Stephen, NB, Sadie Smith (Jack) of Calais, ME, sister in law Bessie Stuart, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Stilly was predeceased by his daughter Susan, and 3 brothers Jack, Joe and Albert and one sister Shirley Matheson. Stilly is remembered throughout the years most for his work at Haley’s lumberyard,a guard with the former provincial jail located behind the old Dooleys, his work with Flakeboard and finishing out as a tax assessor. Upon his retirement you could find Stilly working at Stuart’s Candy & Cards with his son Kevin, located on Milltown Blvd in St. Stephen, where he and his wife Shirley still worked in the store to the present day.
