Obituary of Florence M. Fagan
FAGAN FLORENCE M. – Florence Mary Fagan 87; was entered into rest on January 21st, 2016 at Lincourt Manor, St Stephen, NB. Florence was born in St. John’s Newfoundland, April 24th, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Matthew & Florence (O’Neil) Doody. Florence Lived in St Stephen since 1973 and was a longtime faithful member of Holy Rosary Church and was actively involved with the Living Stones Prayer Group. She loved to be out with her friends playing duplicate bridge and was also an avid curler being a member of the St Stephen Curling Club in which she was a Past President. Florence was predeceased by her husband Brendan of 63 years. She is survived by her children Robert (Laurie), Susan (Bill Anderton) and David (Terry) and grandchildren Laura (Craig McLellan), Michael (Tatum), Kelly & Julie Fagan. She was predeceased in death by her eldest son Denis Matthew, her sister, Mary Kirkpatrick (Doody), and two brothers Kevin Doody and Senator William Doody. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 1st, 2016 at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church St Stephen, NB. Rev. Fr. Paul Doucet as Celebrant. A reception will immediately follow in the Holy Rosary Parish Hall. The interment will take place in the spring in Milltown Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, January 31st, 2016 from 2 – 4 pm only. In lieu of flowers donations to Home Support Services would be appreciated by the family.
