Obituary of Kathleen M. Cline

CLINE KATHLEEN – At the Campobello Lodge on, March 29, 2018; Kathleen Mae (Newman) Cline, age 92, widow of the late Raymond Cline of Welshpool, Campobello Island, passed away after a brief period of illness. She was born April 18, 1925, the daughter of the late Lowell and Christine (Greene) Newman. She was employed by Roosevelt Commission for 24 years and was a member of St. Anne’s Anglican Church in Welshpool. She is survived by her daughter and son – in – law, Lana Rae and David Savage of Palm Coast, Florida, grandsons, Brett Savage of Portland, Maine and Michael Savage of Palm Coast Florida; granddaughter Gina Savage Gambino of Fairhope, Alabama; her sister – in – law and god mother, Erlene Newman of Campobello Island, and many nieces, nephews and cousins, friends, and caretakers. In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raye, in 1989; her stepmother, Virginia Newman; her sister and brother – in – law, Marion and Darrell Chute; her brother – in – law and godfather, S. Winslow Newman; and her godmother, Mae Newman; and many aunts, uncles and cousins In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A graveside service will take place in June in the Anglican Church Cemetery at a later date with time and date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathleen’s memory to the Anglican Church Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
