When I think about my childhood, a kaleidoscope of memories flash by... a great deal of them centered around Robar Lane, at Aunt Yolonde and Uncle Sonny's house. The colors are bright, and the feeling is warm. Their house was always full of family and friends, of laughter and love... and silly pranks. I can't express how much I cherish these memories with Aunt Yolonde; I never wanted to leave. As I got older, if I was visiting New Brunswick, I was always welcome at her house. We would stay up late (correction - I think she would stay up later than me!) drinking whiskey, talk and laugh. She has such a kind heart, and I know she's making up for lost time with her true love, Sonny. I am incredibly thankful to have called her family, and I am sending thoughts and prayers to my cousins, aunts and uncle during this difficult time. Cheers Aunt Yolonde.
