Ginnie and Pete and family, please accept sincere condolences on behalf of the Central Canada District of The Wesleyan Church and from me (Eric) and Kimberly. We had occasion to enjoy services from time to time at Seal Cove Wesleyan and were grateful for your mom's faith and influence. We are praying for your family during this time.

What more can I say? "She was the ultimate friend" to so many and every age. I hold my memories of her as part of the village that raised me near and dear. Hugs to all the family.

Belva was a welcoming person in the Seal Cove Weslyan church when we moved there. Her music was uplifting and encouraging to Elwin, as he used his God given talents for many years. And her friendly love for others still shines. Please accept my deep sympathy , I know she will be missed by family and friends.

To Tim,Pat,Ginny and Jayne,
Your Mom was a lot of things to a lot of people but we all knew that Bev and her children always took first place in her heart and her priorities. I’m sorry for your loss of someone so special.
I was one of the lucky students in her grade six class. My Mom came with her at the start of the school year and helped her get setup. After that she did a great job!
I also remember her getting us ready for the music festival. She would get such a great laugh going when things would unexpectedly run off the rails musically speaking.
God bless you all and give you comfort.

Belva had a great impact on my life. The way she brought music to life on the piano made you want to sing to the heavens. Years of Christmas and Easter contatas were a great joy. She was always there for advice. Surely she has her own piano and is leading the people in Heaven , singing to her Savior.

Through our friendship with Ginnie and Pete we were very fortunate to meet Belva, a beautiful woman. She graced this earth with her compassion, love and kindness. I don’t think I ever saw her without a smile, she welcomed us with open arms. I know she is in heaven with our loved ones and will be waiting at the gate when the time comes. May she rest in peace and be forever in our thoughts and prayers.
God bless this family with peace and comfort. Through you Belva lives on. She was so proud of her legacy.

I remember when Belva first joined Facebook. She sent me a friend request, but I didn't recognize the name she was using. I did a little digging and found out it was her. I accepted, of course. Then one day my phone rang and it was Belva! She said she had to call and tell me, in person, how much she enjoyed the posts I put on Facebook. Well, that made my day and I will never forget it. She was a very kind and caring person. She will be missed.

I met Belva when I started Home Care. I loved visiting with her and Beau. We thought it was kind of cool I had a cat named Beau as well. I didn’t see her for a while after I began my new job at the Nursing Home. And a few years later she made her way back into my life :) I nicknamed her “Bell”. She laughed every time she told someone “she’s the only person to ever call me Bell” and she was quite tickled when I told her about my new kitten and that her name was “Belle” and she asked to see a photo of her. I enjoyed my time with Belva over the last couple of years. She’ll truly be missed at our nursing home family ❤️
